Market Overview 🎯

Shree Cement, which is leaving the Nifty Index, zoomed ~16% this week basis speculation of a price hike amidst the closure of a few mining sites.

BPCL was up 5% after having a lousy year with the stock correcting by 31%. Bajaj Auto saw a correction of 4.6% following the stock downgrade by CLSA.

Crude was down 3% this week and is down 7% for the whole month. The world holds its breath as the energy situation in Europe unfolds.

Nifty had a strong week ending 1.7% up containing its climb towards all time high. Silver was up 4% and gold ended almost flat for the week.

The Sensex PE ratio is at 23.2 and here’s the comparison to the long-term range
