Moving the first of its model to the BS-IV compliant edition, TVS launched the refreshed version of its scooter – the WEGO models with a 110 cc CVTI engine. The model comes in 2 new colours (Metallic Orange and T-Grey). The launch comes at a time as Hero MotoCorp lost the second place in the overall scooter market to TVS.

TVS WEGO now comes with a sync braking system, fully digital speedo, dual tone seat cover, silver oak panels and a USB charging port in addition to being BS IV compliant. We are confident of finding favour with the young, urban executives, whose loyalty and love TVS WEGO has enjoyed over the years.
TVS Motors reported sales of 207,059 units in February, 2017 against 208,485 units during the same time last year.
- Domestic two-wheeler sales at 172,611 units against 183,199 units
- Exports of two-wheeler stood at 33,636 units against 27,949 units
- Motorcycles registered sales of 58,994 units against 77,093 units
- Scooters registered sales of 67,089 units against 69,020 units
- Three wheeler sales stood at 5,223 units against 8,319 units
