Royal Orchid Hotels – India’s fastest growing hotel chain – Capital Mind Outlier Stock

Pace Stock Broking Services purchased 135,000 shares or 0.50% at an avg. price of Rs. 72.37/- thereby valuing the deal at 98 lakhs.

Ace Investor Ashish Ramchandra Kacholia aka Big Whale purchased 278,178 shares or 1.02% at an avg. price of Rs. 87.82/- per share thereby valuing the deal at 244 lakhs.

Sunny Veliyath Porinju (part of the Porinju Pariwar or Equity Intelligence) purchased 150,000 shares or 0.55% at an avg. price of Rs. 69.03/- thereby valuing the deal at Rs. 104 lakhs.

NV Share and Investments an unknown firm also purchased 200,000 shares or 0.74% at an avg. price of Rs. 86.05/- thereby valuing the deal at Rs. 172 lakhs.

 

Lambodhara Textiles – specialize in manufacturing slub yarns, multi count and multi twist yarns, siro yarns and neppy yarns – Capital Mind Outlier Stock

Bharat Shantilal Shah purchased 50,000 shares or 1.10% at an avg. price of Rs. 208/- thereby valuing the deal at Rs. 104 lakhs.

 

Andhra Bank (a medium-sized public sector bank, with a network of 2507 branches) and Kaveri Seeds (seed company in India with a large network of over 15,000 distributors and dealers spread across the country)

Citigroup Global Markets made a purchase in each of these companies.

3,312,000 shares or 0.51% were purchased in Andhra Bank at an avg. price of Rs. 64.62/- thereby valuing the deal at Rs. 2140 lakhs.

347,250 shares or 0.50% were purchased in Kaveri Seeds at an avg. price of Rs. 344.43/- thereby valuing the deal at Rs. 1196 lakhs.

 

Indo Tech Transformers – specialises in power and distribution transformers – Capital Mind Outlier Stock

Tarun Suresh Jain purchased 80,676 shares or 0.76% at an avg. price of Rs. 208.04/- thereby valuing the deal at Rs. 168 lakhs.

 

ANG Industries – diversified engineering and manufacturing company with interest in Heavy Steel Fabrication, Tractor and Trailers, Tipper Body building, Specialised Containers and Automotive Components for Heavy Commercial Vehicles

Smridhi Farms which held 514,212 shares or 3.20% as of September, 2015 sold 100,000 shares or 0.62% at an avg, price of Rs. 52.15/- thereby valuing the deal at Rs. 52 lakhs.

 

ARSS Infra Projects – one of the leading construction companies in Orissa

Kumar Gaurav Gupta purchased 77,147 shares or 0.52% at an avg. price of Rs. 54.18/- thereby valuing the deal at Rs. 42 lakhs.

 

Delivery Volume Shockers!

We have compiled a list of those stocks which have seen massive increases in the “deliverable quantity to traded quantity %”.

Stocks are traded every day and most stocks see intra-day trading (buy and sell on the same day). Intra-day trades don’t result in delivery – if two people buy and sell from each other and square off within the day, there will be volume, but no actual shares will change hands.

Delivery volumes as a percentage of total volume shows us how much of the stock is traded versus held for more than a day. It’s not very useful to use this data to trade per se.

But what is useful is if the delivery percentage JUMPS. If a stock is thinly delivered (say 30% delivery) and jumps up to 80% delivery then we are likely to be seeing some action in that stock because either a big buyer is in or a big seller is.
