Onion prices have gone through the roof. But how high has the roof been in the past? A visual representation of the onion wholesale prices shows us we are at nearly the highest prices since 2001. (Prices were supposedly higher in 1998 but I have no data)
The prices of onions have, in the past, stayed in the Rs. 10 to Rs. 20 range. But the last three months have seen it shooting up.
